10/28 Jaguars at Packers
The Jaguars are considered the worst team in the NFL by most, and this won’t be much a challenge for Green Bay, especially with Maurice Jones-Drew out for this game. Green Bay will be far too much for the Jags to handle and will roll.
PREDICTION: 38-13 Packers.
11/04 Cardinals at Packers
Arizona was the surprise of the league early on with their 4-0 start. They have since come back to reality and have dropped three straight games (Rams, Bills, Vikings), and look to be heading for an epic collapse. Cardinals defense is solid, and will get after Rodgers, but it won’t be nearly enough.
PREDICITION: 31-17 Packers.

11/18 Packers at Lions
The Lions’ contender talks are in the distant past. This 2-4 Lions team has plenty of talent, but week in and week out they are unprepared, and play some of the dumbest football in the NFL. Stafford is the most overrated QB in the NFL as far as I’m concerned, and that team is stepping right into their 2008 form. I fully expect them to be 3-6 when we meet. Scwhartz’s days in Detroit should be numbered.
PREDICTION: 34-24 Packers.
11/25 Packers at Giants
The Giants are getting hot, and are back to being most people’s team to beat in the NFC. Giants matchup well against us from their front four, to their aggressive passing offense versus our banged up secondary. Woodson will most likely still be out this game as this will be the 6 week mark, and at 7-3, the Packers won’t be rushing him back. Rodgers will be under fire from that Giants front and it will take 35 this game to get the win. It’s possible the Packers muster enough to earn vengeance in prime time,but I just don’t think it will be our week.
PREDICTION: 34-31 Giants
12/2 Vikings at Packers
The Vikings are a sleeper team this year. From 2 wins, to a 5-2 start. Adrian Peterson is back to being, well, Adrian Peterson and the defense is playing stellar for the Vikings at the moment. Ponder is managing games, but managing games always catches up to you. I see Vikings as a 6-5, or a 7-4 at best team heading into his game. Packers will either be tied for second in the North or be 1 game up on Vikes heading into this match up. Packers will recognize the urgency and will bounce back strong at home with the return of Charles Woodson versus a Vikings team that isn’t as talented as the early record would lead you to believe.
PREDICTION: 27-17 Packers.
12/09 Lions at Packers
It’s a Sunday night prime time game, a game the Packers always thrive in, and they are facing a regressing Lions team that will simply be over matched. Rodgers with another surgical game.
PREDICTION: 38-17 Packers.
12/16 Packers at Bears
Bears week. The Bears are the most overrated team in the National Football League today. Are the Bears a good team? Yes. Are the Bears the class of the NFC? Absolutely not. Chicago will start 7-1 baring an epic collapse. But the Bears have played one of the weakest schedules in the entire NFL. The Bears second half schedule gets stronger. With tougher opponents (Texans, 49ers), we will see what they are truly made of. Their offensive line woes, and the fact that Jay Cutler is their QB will always show up when it matters. The Bears are on the fast track to win the division, and that doesn’t bother me because we are the kryptonite to the Bears. Until they can show they can beat us, regardless of hype or record, Packers own the Bears. Packers make it 8 out of 9 and 6 straight.
PREDICTION: 27-20 Packers.
12/23 Titans at Packers
Packers are always hard to beat at home, but it’s even harder when you just aren’t a very good team. The Titans will make it a game early, Pack will pull away in second half. Benson could be back Bears week, but if he returns, I think it will be this game.
PREDICTION: 34-17 Packers.
12/30 Packers at Vikings
Something tells me the Vikings are going to show up this game. Vikings will go want to go out with a bang and play extremely hard, but Rodgers mounts a 2 minute drive, and Crosby boots the game winner.
PREDICTION: 30-28 Packers.
Packers will make the playoffs at (12-4), and the quest to bring Lombardi home will be underway.
